The story
How it went.
A dredging specialist working on projects across the Netherlands moved to a fully electric push boat: a significant step towards emission-free and low-noise dredging, without giving up the power this work demands.
The push boat is designed to remove 25,000 cubic metres of sediment from waterways and works alongside the rest of the fleet: hydraulic excavators from 1.6 to 25 tonnes, pontoon sets with tugs and barges, and push boats in various sizes. Electric propulsion fits that approach: less disruption to the surroundings, and every project executed with precision and care.
